Job Description

Dance Dynamics NJ is seeking a seasoned and highly qualified ballet instructor for the 2025-26 school year. Located 2609 Route 9 Ocean View New Jersey (20 min from Atlantic City) Our classes start September 8th. This position would be for the following schedule:

*Thursday 4:15 - 7:30pm*

*Open to add adult ballet classes as well*

*Wanting to Add a point class this night as well. *

*Private Lesson for students *

*Requirements*

* Minimum *2 years of teaching experience*, including pointe instruction.
* Willingness to work with Children age 8 and up. From beginner ballet students to advanced. American Ballet Theatre (ABT) influence. other levels are for experienced ballet dancers ages 9 and up through pointe.
* *Advanced proficiency in ballet*.
* Ability to differentiate instruction for varied skill levels.
* Strong musicality, choreography skills, and understanding of progressions.
* Positive, uplifting classroom presence and excellent management skills.
* Experience teaching students of all ages and abilities.
* Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.

_*Preferred Qualifications*_

* College degree in Dance or danced in a Professional Company
* Certification in specific dance styles, such as American Ballet Theatre would love Acrobatic Arts experience

_*Responsibilities*_

* Implement established progression. And growth for various age groups and abilities.
* Teach dance technique and choreography in a classroom setting, ensuring a positive learning environment.
* Manage classroom dynamics and provide individualized attention to students, fostering their growth and confidence in dance.
* Collaborate with other instructors and participate in recital productions to enhance students' performance skills.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development in dance.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
