CES/AWS is looking for a CNC Operator/Programmer (Lathe Programmer/Set-Up)


Location: Fairview, PA
Schedule: Full-time | Mandatory OT as required
Compensation: $28-$32/hr Based on experience


Are you an experienced CNC Lathe Specialist looking to take your career to the next level? We are currently hiring a CNC Specialist (Lathe Programmer/Set-Up) to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring machine optimization, first-time quality, and smooth production flow.


Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC Lathe machines using MasterCAM software.
• Follow router plans and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on any required changes.
• Maximize machine utilization and unattended run-time.
• Perform precision inspection using probes and measuring tools; complete all inspection documentation.
• Report any out-of-tolerance parts or errors to the Manufacturing Engineer or Job Leader.
• Support tool inventory monitoring and basic machine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist in router planning as needed.
• Deliver excellent internal customer service and maintain production schedules.
• Participate in team training, development, and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with CNC Lathe programming and set-up
• Proficient in MasterCAM
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical inspection techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work overtime and travel when required
