Job Title: Enterprise Architect (Contractor)

Location: San Jose, CA (Contract Position)

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the alignment of our technology strategy with evolving business needs, with a strong emphasis on innovation, development, and secure infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will help shape our organizations technology landscape, enhance operational efficiency, and support a culture of innovation for our DSA employees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Architecture Development: Design and implement enterprise-wide technology strategies, roadmaps, and architectural principles that align with business goals while embedding security at every layer.
2. Business and Innovation Analysis: Evaluate business operations and innovation goals to identify technology needs and security risks, guiding strategic planning and investment.
3. Governance & Compliance Oversight: Establish governance frameworks and enforce compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.
4. Technology Selection & Evaluation: Identify and implement cutting-edge tools and platforms that support operational efficiency, innovation, and risk mitigation.
5. Infrastructure Optimization: Improve infrastructure flexibility, scalability, and resilience through best practices in infrastructure and data management.
6. Security & Risk Management: Guide stakeholders in secure decision-making, conduct risk assessments, and define mitigation strategies.
7. Secure Development Enablement: Integrate security into development processes by promoting secure coding, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
8. Architectural Advisory: Provide expert guidance on infrastructure and enterprise architecture design to ensure alignment with business and security requirements.
9. Implementation & Testing: Lead the implementation and validation of IT solutions to ensure performance, functionality, and security effectiveness.
10. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and lead continuous improvements to infrastructure and IT capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or a related role
• Strong knowledge in:
• Network Security: VPNs, SSL/TLS, IPsec, firewalls, IDS/IPS
• Endpoint Security: EDR, antivirus, MDM systems
• Cloud Security: IAM, encryption, and compliance in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Data Protection: Encryption, tokenization, and DLP tools
• Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: DR planning and backup strategies
• Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and related frameworks
