Must Haves:

• 3 years or more of experience with Military aircraft maintenance.
• 3 years or more of maintenance experience with military weapons.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Plusses:

• Maintenance experience with M240D weapons.
• Specific military aircraft maintenance on helicopters or rotorcrafts.
• Airframe and Power plant (A&P) license.

Day to Day:

Insight Global is hiring a Helicopter Mechanic Technician to support our client in Malmstrom AFB, Montana. This individual will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and modifying aerospace vehicle systems to correct failures or implement upgrades, with a focus on weapons components. This role oversees the assembly, disassembly, and overhaul of mechanical and weapons systems, including the M240D, ensuring all work aligns with OEM and military standards. The mechanic configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment, performs complex troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and validates system functionality through rigorous testing. Responsibilities include documenting procedures and results to maintain contractual and regulatory compliance, inspecting components for flight worthiness, and verifying repairs. The position requires up to 25% travel annually to support operational demands. The schedule is 1st shift 7:00-3:30pm but must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift. This is long term contractor opportunity. The pay rate ranges from $33-$38/hour.
