PROGRAM MANAGER (temp p/t . 9-10 wks.)

Metropolitan Family Services, Inc. is seeking a very responsible, organized, reliable, and dedicated individual with management experience and providing services for individuals that are developmentally disabled. As the Program Manager, your role is to provide supports and services necessary to enable a person to live, work, socialize, and participate in the community. Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Program Manager is responsible the for the management and operation of the Community Habilitation program, including supervision of DSPs and the supervision and care of all individuals receiving services within the program.

Job Description:

1. Plans, designs and implements a Community Habilitation program.
2. Coordinates referrals, admissions and discharges of Individuals in cooperation with families, referring agencies, and providers.
3. Skilled with compliance and auditing of files
4. Attends staff action plan meetings
5. Skillful with intake
6. Experienced with community outreach
7. Billing of Community Habilitation Services
8. Experience with recruitment and intake
9. Provides regular and ongoing supervision to all staff.
10. Reviews and updates plans to address changes in Individuals' interests, needs and family situations.
11. Maintains records of staff's PPD-TB and annual trainings, consumer's personal information, and accurate case records by OPWDD regulations and standards.
12. Able to travel to all boroughs as needed
13. Bilingual Spanish a plus
14. Provides adequate staffing for the clients, as well as coverage for when staff are absent.
15. Perform other job-related duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. Must have a bachelor's degree in either Human Services, Sociology, or Psychology.
2. Must have at least 2-year experience working with developmentally disabled individuals, service coordination, foster care, working in schools, etc.
3. 2 years exp managing others.

Job Type: part time, temp

Salary: $25 to $27.00 p/h
