Job Title: Recruiter

Position Overview: The Recruiter is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with various departments to meet the company's hiring needs. The Recruiter will play a key role in identifying, attracting, and integrating top talent into the organization.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Recruitment : Develop recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral to attract applicants and fill job openings.
  • Talent   Acquisition : Collaborate with department heads to define hiring needs and create job descriptions. Source candidates using job boards, social media, and networking. Screen candidates for qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Interview   Coordination : Coordinate and conduct interviews, share candidate feedback with hiring teams, and manage communication throughout the process.
  • Applicant Tracking: Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate and timely data.
  • Relationship   Management : Foster relationships with external recruitment partners and educational institutions. Promote a positive candidate experience from application through onboarding.
  • Compliance   and   Reporting : Ensure recruitment and onboarding practices align with company policies and employment laws. Generate recruitment reports, onboarding feedback, and retention data.

Non-Essential Functions (Duties):

  • • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • • Support employee onboarding events or orientation sessions.
  • • Contribute to the continuous improvement of hiring and onboarding processes.
  • • Participate in company-sponsored training and development events

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in recruitment and onboarding, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment techniques and tools, including ATS platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to recruitment and employment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work a desk job requiring long hours of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Occasionally walking around the office, attending meetings, and visiting different departments.
  • Proficient in using a computer, including typing, using a mouse, and other peripherals.
  • Ability to read and analyze documents, computer screens, and technical diagrams.
  • Effective listening skills for communication during, interviews, meetings, both in-person and virtual.
  • Potential travel to different locations for meetings, conferences, or site visits, which might involve driving or flying.

 

Working Conditions:

 

  • Office environment with occasional travel for recruitment events. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones when necessary.
