An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support a K-2 intervention specialist caseload in a K-12 public school setting. This contract position runs through the current school year with a start date as soon as possible, lasting until May 29.
Responsibilities include managing a cross-categorical resource room where students spend most of the day, with occasional time spent outside the room for specials. The classroom primarily serves students with autism and developmental disabilities. Collaboration with at least one paraprofessional will be integral to daily operations. Key duties involve lesson planning, writing and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitoring student progress, preparing quarterly reports, and conducting IEP meetings.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:20 a.m. to 4:10 p.m.
