Job Description

A Special Education Teacher position is available for a high school setting located in Youngstown, OH. This contract role is scheduled for the school year and involves working 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs
• Adapt general education curriculum to meet learning objectives for students with disabilities
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to promote an inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student progress

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
