Job Description

Nesco Resource is looking for a CNC Swiss Operator located in bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM (Starting on 1st to train, shift may be adjusted once fully trained)

Pay: $22/hour or based on relevant experience

Job Overview: This is a great opportunity for someone who has some experience or exposure to Swiss-style CNC machines and is eager to learn and grow in a high-precision environment. You'll be part of a supportive team with experienced machinists and setup personnel available to train and assist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC Swiss machines to produce small, high-tolerance components
• Load raw materials and monitor machine operations for accuracy and consistency
• Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other basic measuring tools
• Work from job travelers, setup sheets, and blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications
• Communicate with senior operators and supervisors regarding machine performance or quality concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Some prior experience or training with CNC machines
• Willingness to learn Swiss-style machining processes
• Ability to read basic blueprints and use standard measuring tools
• Dependable and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
